Welcome to the 1st International Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Conference in Translational Medicine & the 4th Macau Stem Cell Symposium

The 1st Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau (GHM) Greater Bay Area International Conference on Translational Medicine and the 4th Macau Stem Cell Symposium”, which is hosted by the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), organized by Zhuhai UM Science and Technology Research Institute (ZUMRI), and co-organized by Macau Society for Stem Cell Research, Zhuhai Hengqin ImStem Biotechnology Co. Ltd., STEMCELL Technology Inc., The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Zhuhai People’s Hospital, Ministry of Education Frontiers Science Center for Precision Oncology, University of Macau and Becton, Dickinson and Company will be held on January 14-15, 2022 (Fri & Sat) online. Researchers, scholars and industry experts from the Greater Bay Area and other parts of the world will gather together in the University of Macau to participate in the grand event to showcase their latest research progress and applications in stem cell and translational medicine. We hope you will join us!

The GHM Greater Bay Area is a major engine of China’s economic development and a centre of biomedical research and development. The construction of the Guangdong-Macau In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin greatly speeds up the development of GHM Greater Bay Area, boosts the collaboration mechanism between Hengqin and Macau. The cooperation zone will develop new industries to facilitate Macau’s economic diversification and focus on sci-tech research.

This conference will provide a platform for experts and scholars from the Greater Bay Area, other cities in China and abroad to share scientific and technological progress and experience in stem cell biology and translational medicine. It also provides an opportunity for researchers and students to meet with renowned scholars for discussions and collaborations.

In response to the epidemic, the conference will be held in a format that combines online and in-person elements. Participants who are unable to attend the conference in person can join it online. No registration fee is required.
