Call for Research Posters/Images
All previously submitted posters/images are not needed to be resubmitted
We welcome posters of all topics in stem cell and translational medicine. The information and requirements for poster submission can be found below.
Eligibility
Participants must be students or research staff of biomedical academy and institutions.

For presenting a poster at the symposium, please follow the link below to first register for the conference and submit your poster title and abstract to compete for an award on or before 27 Dec 2021. Also, if you wish to submit an image to compete for an award, you may upload the Image via the aforementioned link.

After registration, applicants should follow the link or scan the QR code below to submit the file (PPT or AI format) of the poster on or before 27 Dec 2021 according to the requirements below. Late submission will not be accepted.

Submission of Images (Deadline: 27 Dec 2021 23:59, Macau Standard Time GMT+8)
Please upload the image via the registration form according to the instructions. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Poster Requirements
- The submitted work must be original, not plagiarized nor copied. The content may contain published or unpublished research work; if it has been published, please specify the copyright of the work. The poster should be in English.
- Be in AI or PPT format (no bigger than 50 MB), with a resolution of 300 dpi and at least 1920 x 1080 pixels. The poster size is 0.8 metre (wide) by 1.18 metre (high).
- Uploaded poster file must be named as the full English name shown on the participant’s ID card. e.g. CHENXIAOTONG.pptx
- The content of the poster is not limited to the number of words, fonts, format, but only one page is allowed.
- The poster should include:
- Title
- Name(English and Chinese names as shown on the ID card) and affiliation of Author(s)
- Objectives / Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Discussions
- Summary/Conclusions
- Acknowledgments
- The title of the poster and participant’s name must be placed prominently on the top of the poster.
All poster entries will be reviewed by the Poster/Image Review & Award Committee. Once the entries are accepted, the participants will be provided with free hotel accommodation (check in on 14 Jan and check out on 15 Jan) and free meals (15 Jan) during the conference.
Image Requirement
- The submitted image must be original, not plagiarized nor copied.
- Must be in JPG format (no bigger than 50 MB), with a resolution of 300 dpi and at least 4961 x 3508 pixels (which can be printed at A3 size paper)
- Uploaded Image file must be named as the full English name shown on the participant’s ID card, e.g. IMAGE+CHENXIAOTONG.jpg
- The image needs a Chinese commentary for the general public (within 125 words), and be accompanied by an English translation.
POSTER AWARD
The Poster/Image Review & Award Committee will assess all submitted posters for the prizes and awards below.
Two first prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB2,000.
Four second prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB1,000.
Six third prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB500.
Each winner will receive an award certificate.
IMAGE AWARD
The Poster/Image Review & Award Committee will assess all submitted images for the prizes and awards below.
One first prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB800.
Two second prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB400.
Three third prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB200.
Each winner will receive an award certificate.
The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) of the University of Macau (UM) reserves the right of final interpretation and the right to amend the present rules and guidelines.
